Celtic Spirituality  (United States)
Modified By LARRY MIHM on 6/30/2009 10:33:14 AM

Being at the Renovaré conference brought an interest in Celtic Christian Spirituality alive in me.

Interesting!  It's going to let me edit my own thread.

Not a really lively forum yet, is it?

I found the author, Peter Tremayne, at the ¡Viva! bookstore.  He writes about the Irish keeping civilization alive in the 4th and 5th centuries.  Listening to Chris Webb speak Welsh and sing a liturgy stirred my Scottish/Irish blood.

I also went to the session on "Books to chew on" by Emily Griffin.  Things that were said at that session and so many other things at the conference rekindled a desire in me to work on my contemplative "stream" that has been stagnant for a long time.
